Cecilia’s sister dragged her to her first Bikram class at the age of 17. She walked out of that class exhausted, overheated, and with a promise to herself to never go back.
Flash forward 3 years later to 2016, Cecilia found herself starting a new chapter in her life after dropping out of college and moving to Bend. Even though she promised to never partake in a Bikram yoga class again, her friend convinced her to give it another try, and ever since she has been hooked! After a year of teaching in Bend, Cecilia returned back home to the Portland metro area to nurture her relationship with her self. her family, and her yoga community.
With many injuries from competitive swimming in college, she was able to find relief, mobility, and strength. With a continuous practice, Cecilia found a new language of communication with her mind and body, which allowed her to relax and blossom into her true self.
Within the 2 years of her practice, Cecilia was able to take positive control over her health, diminish her depression and anxiety, and find inner peace within herself and the world. Cecilia’s enthusiasm and calm demeanor, combined with the heat and humidity, and the brilliance of the 26 & 2 postures assists her in creating this safe space for you to explore your physical, mental, and spiritual body.
