Before the Spine Strengthening Series, we have one posture lying on our backs. Pavanamuktasana or Wind Removing Pose, in English. Any guess where it gets it's name?! Wind Removing Pose is a class favorite and a hugely beneficial posture even when practiced outside of the Bikram series. Be careful, don't fall into the trap of thinking this posture is extra break time! Wind Removing Pose requires quite a bit of strength, effort, and concentration!
